The Government Relations Office is uOttawa’s liaison with all levels of government.

The Office of Government Relations serves as the University's liaison with all levels of government. The office works with elected officials, as well as public servants, government agencies and key stakeholders to promote and enhance strategic relationships.

The office provides advice to uOttawa leadership on government policies, initiatives and opportunities and develops a comprehensive approach to address issues of strategic importance to the University.

Government Relations works closely with others in the University community to facilitate government visits to campus, including meetings, lab tours, funding announcements, major ceremonies, high-level visits, ground breakings and building openings.
