Emergent Art Space (EAS) is issuing an international ‘Call for Art’ for a virtual and live exhibition that will feature the work of young artists responding to the theme of Art & Human Rights. EAS believes that the arts are a powerful tool for communication, understanding and connection—making a difference in a world filled with tension and strife. They are offering an exhibition opportunity and platform for young artists to creatively address issues of human rights and peril in our current time.
When & Where:  May 29th – June 10th, 2023
  • Virtual Exhibition via Emergent Art Space Website – Up to 30 artists’ artworks will be selected.
  • Live Exhibition at the University of Concordia in Montreal, Canada – Up to 6 artists will also be invited to ship and show their physical work at this site, as part of a larger exhibition; a video of the virtual show will also have a presence at the live exhibition.

Who is Eligible to Apply: Young artists from around the world ages 18-35.

Award Prizes:  First Place $500   |   Second Place $300   |   Third Place $300
