Prevention of Sexual Violance

The University of Ottawa is committed to maintaining a campus that promotes respect for the dignity of every individual, and a community that is free from sexual violence. Sexual violence will not be tolerated. The University has policies, practices and services in place to help safeguard the well-being of all members of its community.

Incidents of sexual violence should be reported to uOttawa Human Rights Office or to Protection Services.

Students or employees who wish to lodge a sexual violence complaint should be directed to the Human Rights Office, which provides neutral and confidential services. It may refer individuals to campus-based or off-campus services where appropriate.
