Orientation for new students

To help you get ready for university life, we are offering you various orientation opportunities this summer. Spend the day on campus or enjoy a visit near you from your regional mentors.

Attend the orientation activity that best suits your needs

Regional mentor visits (off campus)

Date: to be determined

Location: Many cities in Canada

Between late July and mid-August, your regional mentors will be visiting a city near you. Offering our own student perspective, we will cover important topics such as moving into residence, 101 Week and a variety of useful tips and tricks for your first year. Our regional visits are your chance to speak with a university student, get answers to your questions and start the year off on the right foot. We can’t wait to see you there!

What we offer

  • Information on University services — there are lots of them.
  • Help with course enrolment — we want you to get the best schedule possible.
  • Personalized campus visits — we all get lost from time to time, but you don’t have to.
  • Activities with people from your region — a great way to make friends.
  • Coffee Fund — for when you just need to chat.
