Deactivate your account
You can deactivate your uOttawa card on line at any time, or you can call or visit the uOttawa Card Service office in person. If you call us to deactivate your card, you will be required to correctly answer a series of questions to help us confirm that you are the card’s account holder.
How to deactivate your account on line
- Log into your account by entering your student number and uoZone password
- Select the “Account tool” tab
- Select “Deactivate card”
- Click on “Confirm” to deactivate your card
If you have deactivated your uOttawa Card, and find it later, you will need to go to the uOttawa Card Service in person to reactivate your card. If you cannot find your uOttawa card, you will need to bring the proper ID required to obtain a uOttawa card to the uOttawa Card Service, where you will be charged a $25 administration fee (tax included). Once your replacement uOttawa card has been issued, your previously issued uOttawa card will become inactive and can no longer be reactivated.
