Dynamic Content List (DCL): Making the categorizer title and the results label show up

The following tutorial will explain how to make both the categorizer titles and the results label show up as H2 headings, as shown in the following example.

Prerequisites

For the following tutorial:

  1. You need to be able to add Dynamic Content Lists as content. If it is not available on your site, please ask your webmaster to enable the module Dynamic View, or request that a member of the Support team enable it for you using the Service Desk request form.
  2. You are expected to have already created a Dynamic Content List and to know how to add and edit Component Styles.

Configuring the Dynamic Content List (DCL)

To set the value of the results label:

  1. Edit your Dynamic Content List.
  2. On the left side, click on the tab "Results Label".
  3. Provide an English and French label.
  4. Once done, click on the button Finish.
  5. Then click on Update and Save to save your changes.

To set the value of the categorizer title:

  1. Edit your Dynamic Content List.
  2. On the left side, click on the tab "Categorizers".
  3. Under "Categorizer location titles", provide an English and a French title in the region that applies (typically the right side).
  4. Once done, click on the button Finish.
  5. Then click on Update and Save to save your changes.

Using Component Styles to reveal the label and title

  1. If already set, edit the Component Styles of your DCL. If not, you can add Component Styles by clicking on the top-right gear icon of your DCL and, under Style, selecting "Change". Select "Component Styles" and click on Next.
  2. In the settings page, you will want to set the option "Display Title?" to "Yes", and then leave the fields that appear blank, as shown in the image below.

  3. Once done, click on the button Finish.
  4. Then click on Update and Save to save your changes.
