To be able to create an A-Z listing, you need to be able to add Dynamic Content Lists as content. If it is not available on your site, please ask your webmaster to enable the module Dynamic View, or request that a member of the Support team enable it for you using the Service Desk request form.
Step 1 – Create the taxonomy terms that will be used as filter categories
Navigate to Structure > Taxonomy.
On the page that appears, find Content Groups, and click on “Add terms”.
Note: Each term will represent the name of a filter category.
Enter the name of the category in the Name field, then click on “Save and translate”.
A page will appear listing the available languages. Beside French, click on “Add”.
Note: If you get an access denied error at this step, it is because you are not logged into the French side of your site. Simply open a new tab to connect yourself to the French side of your site, then go back to this page and click on your browser's refresh button to load the page.
Enter the French name of the category into the Name field.
Once done, scroll down and click on “Enregistrer” (Save).
Repeat these steps for each term (category) you wish to add.
Step 2 – Creating content links and tagging them
Navigate to Content.
Click on “+ Add content” and then select “Content Link”.
Title: Enter the title of your link.
Link: Enter the full URL or the relative path of the page you wish to link.
Content Group: Tag your Content Link to one of the groups you created in Step 1.
Save and repeat for each Content Link you wish to add.
Step 3 – Building the Dynamic Content List (DCL)
Navigate to Structure > Pages.
Edit the page on which you wish to add your A-Z listing. Preferentially, this page should have a B or BB layout.
In the left menu, click on “Content”.
You should now be presented with a page outlining the regions of your layout. Click on the top‑left gear icon of one of those regions.
In the dropdown menu that appears, click on “Add content”.
A new window should appear. In the left menu, select “Content” and then select “Dynamic Content List”.
You will be presented with a page allowing you to configure your Dynamic Content List. For the purpose of this exercise, select the values below:
