The Provost and Vice-President, Academic Affairs and is responsible for the University’s academic mandate. They oversee all aspects of academic planning, development, and implementation at the University. She is supported in this role by the Deputy Provost, Planning and Academic Budgets.

The Provost and Vice-President, Academic Affairs also oversees the creation of the annual Scorecard, which tracks 29 performance indicators that reflect the University's progress towards the various objectives found in Transformation 2030, previously Destination 2020.
