When dealing with mental illness or any wellbeing issues, we can often feel alone. Knowing others struggle or have struggled like us can reduce the feeling of isolation and be useful in working toward our own recovery.
It can also be helpful or inspiring for those supporting friends or family members who are dealing with hardships to read about similar experiences.
