CDN1100 Introduction to Canadian Studies (3,0,0) 3 cr.
Introduction to the interdisciplinary study of Canada and to documentary research dealing with Canada.

CDN1500 Introduction aux études canadiennes (3,0,0) 3 cr.
Introduction à l'étude interdisciplinaire du Canada. Initiation à la recherche documentaire portant sur le Canada.

CDN2100 New Research Methods for the Study of Canada (3,0,0) 3 cr.
Designed to provide students with selected skills needed to identify, retrieve, critique, and analyze information about Canada, and to present their findings effectively. Special attention will be given to the use of information technologies and to the major research strategies being used by Canadianists in the projects associated with the Institute.
Prerequisite: CDN1100 or the written permission of the Institute.

CDN2500 Nouvelles méthodes de recherche pour l'étude du Canada (3,0,0) 3 cr.
Acquisition des compétences nécessaires pour repérer, analyser, faire la critique de l'information sur le Canada et pour présenter efficacement les résultats des recherches. Une attention particulière sera accordée aux nouvelles technologies et aux stratégies de recherche utilisées par les canadianistes associés à l'Institut d'études canadiennes.
Préalable : CDN1500 ou la permission écrite de l'Institut.
