International Economics and Development

At the beginning of the 21st century, the topic of international development and
globalization is central for the future global order. An understanding of
international development and globalization is clearly necessary to analyze a host
of economic issues. The International Economics and Development program is oriented
around a variety of courses focused on international and development questions as
they pertain to individuals, private and public sector bodies, and nations. It
anchors economic concepts in a perspective for understanding economic development
factors and the economies of developing and expanding countries.
