Mandatory requirement: Immersion stay abroad
A minimum of 12 course credits will be taken abroad in a university where Italian is the language of teaching and study. The University of Ottawa will establish Italian (ITA) course equivalencies. The foreign university and the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures will establish jointly a bank of courses from which students will choose the credits to take.
Eligibility requirements:
1) must have completed ITA3911 and (ITA1113 or ITA2113);
2) must have a minimal cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.5;
3) must not be on probation;
4) must take a minimum of 12 credits or the equivalent abroad.
Students will receive a total of $2000 in funding (i.e. a $1000 mobility scholarship from the International Office and $1000 from the Faculty of Arts).
