MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN
Studying in the Faculty of Arts provide you the knowledge and skills to open many doors and will enrich your potential for life-long learning. Here you have the opportunity to study in either of Canada's official languages, or to benefit from in a completely bilingual environment in which you master both. Here you can experience intellectual growth in a Faculty that has been a centre of humanist inquiry for more than 150 years.
A wide choice of programs awaits you. The Faculty offers a concentration BA (three years) and an honours BA (four years), in more than 20 disciplines as well as in interdisciplinary programs. It also offers a general BA, an individualized program that allows a more multidisciplinary education.
I invite you to join more than 5000 fellow students who are taking full advantage of our 800 different courses and the vast expertise of our 800 full- and part-time professors. I am convinced that your interests and aspirations will be fulfilled within the Faculty of Arts in ways that will prepare you for tomorrow's world.
