Baccalaureate in Journalism (BJour) | 90 |

Two routes to degree condition are possible:
The first route:
Students are admitted to the Journalism Program at Algonquin College according to the admission requirement in effect. After successful completion of the college program, students may apply to the University of Ottawa. The University of Ottawa will accept graduates of the Algonquin diploma program who have a minimum final grade point of average of 3.0 (70%) or higher. Admission to the Baccalaureate in Journalism for graduates from Algonquin College program in Journalism is not subject to limited enrolment. This agreement will cover graduates of the program from the class of 1998 onwards.
The second route:
Students apply for direct admission to the Baccalaureate in Journalism program at the University of Ottawa without holding a Diploma in Journalism from Algonquin College. The conditions of admission are determined by the University of Ottawa (minimum CGPA of 70%) but the number of students admitted to this program is limited to 25 per year. |
