Medicine

The program leading to the doctor of medicine degree includes 150 weeks of instruction (79 weeks of which are devoted to clinical work) scheduled over four calendar years and divided into two stages. Stage I is devoted to the teaching and learning of biomedical sciences Stage II is devoted to clinical work. During medical studies, students should demonstrate the intelligence, the integrity, personal and emotional characteristics deemed necessary in competent physicians. Their behaviour must be consistent with an acceptable code of professional ethics, such as stated in the Faculty's Standards of Ethical and Professional Behaviour.

Undergraduate studies

- Prgrams in graduate studies leading to master's and doctorate (PhD) degrees from the departments of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology, Cellular and Molecular Medicine and Epidemiology and Community Medicine;
- A program in continuing medical education;
- A postgraduate medical education program.

Language of instruction

The program of studies for the doctor of medicine degree is offered in both official languages.

Candidates are invited to an interview on the basis of the excellence of their academic file and the results of the autobiographical sketch assessment.
