Écriture et style

In an undergraduate program, a good command of French will boost your marks. On completion of your studies, nearly every position offered to you will include a writing component. And, since you will not likely have secretarial services to rely on and since even the best spell checking software applications cannot spot every error, your employer will require that you write well in French; indeed, language skills will often be the factor that allows you to stand out from the other candidates.

The minor in écriture et style offered by the Département de français includes a full range of courses in French grammar and composition. If you want to hone your written communication skills in French, not only to improve your academic performance but also to maximize your professional potential, this minor is for you; the only condition is that your undergraduate degree allows you to add a minor.
