Biography
Dr. Asif Doja completed his medical degree at the University of Western Ontario in2000, followed by post-graduate training in pediatric neurology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto from 2000 to 2005. He also completed a Master’s in Education at the University of Toronto from 2002 to 2007. Dr. Doja is the director of the movement disorder clinic at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and also participates in the Tourette Interdisciplinary Interprofessional Clinic (TIIC). His research interests include pediatric movement disorders and medical education and his clinical research interests include the portrayal of Tourette Syndrome in the media, dopa-responsive dystonia. His medical education research interests include bibliometric studies in medical education, the hidden curriculum and manpower issues in child neurology.
