The Polaris program will end on August 31, 2026. After more than two years of work inspired by the findings of UniForum, we are moving from a centralized transformation model to a phase of consolidation and integration.
The objectives pursued - improving efficiency, enhancing our understanding of costs and service levels, and strengthening data-informed decision-making - remain fully relevant. However, their implementation will now be embedded within the regular management responsibilities of the functions and within our established planning mechanisms.
What’s changing
Polaris will therefore no longer operate as a distinct program. The initiatives currently underway will be:
- continued by the responsible units
- integrated into regular operations
- or be completed by August 31, 2026
UniForum program strategic refocus
The University is maintaining its participation in the UniForum program (login required). However, its use will be refocused on a limited number of strategic priorities in order to maximize its value. Work will be carried out in collaboration with the Institutional Research and Planning team to optimize data governance and use.
