Telfer School of Management

MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN

This is an exciting time to be embarking on a management education. Canada’s dynamic economy is creating incredible opportunities for well-trained and versatile leaders.

The Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, accredited by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, is uniquely positioned to link with and learn from Canada’s leaders. We are committed to making leadership the driving force behind each of our graduates.

The undergraduate program is supported by a team of over 80 full-time professors and over 100 part-time professors from the business and public-sector communities. Full-time professors bring an impressive record in teaching, research and consulting. Their work and experience allow them to maintain close contact with the real world of managers in the National Capital Region.

The Honours Bachelor of Commerce was designed to enable students to make successful transitions from the classroom to the boardroom.

In addition to offering specialized services promoting students’ personal and professional development, the Telfer School offers a rich learning environment that includes case studies, directed readings, business simulations and unique opportunities to learn from successful local executives.

The Telfer School also boasts a culturally rich and diverse student body. This helps to promote a rewarding student life, along with opportunities for students to participate in case competitions, join student clubs, participate in an international exchange, contribute to charitable causes and take advantage of special leadership-development activities.

That was a glimpse of what we offer and what I invite you to experience. I look forward to welcoming you on campus.
