Biography
Dr. Adam Garber is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist (Ob/Gyn) at the Ottawa Hospital and an Associate Professor and the University of Ottawa, Canada. He holds a Master of Science degree in Health Professions Education (McMaster University) and completed a Senior Fellowship in Simulation Based Education through the Department of Innovation in Medical Education and the University of Ottawa Skills and Simulation Centre.
He is the simulation lead for the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the fellowship director for Ob/Gyn’s completing their fellowship in Simulation Based Education. He is the Competence Committee Chair for the residency program and has recently completed a 5-year term as the Associate Program Director. He is the acting chair of the national simulation working group of Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada. His academic interests lie in innovative simulation techniques, team training, and the intersection between simulation and quality, safety, and patient experience.
