Biography

Dr. Aisling Clancy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her Medical Doctorate at Queen’s University in 2011 and her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at the University of Ottawa in 2016. She subsequently completed her subspecialty fellowship training in urogynecology, female pelvic medicine, and reconstructive surgery in Ottawa in 2019.

Dr. Clancy holds a Masters degree in Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology from Harvard University (2020) and a Master of Science in Physical Chemistry from the University of Calgary (2007). Her research interests include patient perceptions of care, predicting and preventing surgical complications, and developing strategies to optimize the delivery of urogynecologic care.

Dr. Clancy sees patients at the Riverside Hospital Shirley Greenberg Women’s Health Centre Urogynecology Clinic as well as at the Harmony Health Centre. She is a member of The Ottawa Hospital Civic Obstetrics Group. She sees patients for obstetrical, gynecologic, and urogynecologic care.
