Biography

Dr. Dennie is a professor at the University of Ottawa in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging with a cross-appointment to the Department of Medicine in Cardiology. She is  the co-director of Cardiac Radiology at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, as well as fellowship director of Cardiac Radiology at the University of Ottawa.

She is the director of Continuing Professional Development in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa. She served as chair of the organizing committee for the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) in 2013/2014. She is also the Chair of the Diagnostic Radiology Examination Committee of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Dennie has been an invited speaker at national and international meetings including the CAR, the Society of Thoracic Radiology, The North American Society for Cardiovascular Imaging, The World Congress of Thoracic Imaging, the RSNA and the American Thoracic Society meetings. She has contributed to the Canadian guidelines for the diagnosis and management of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension and the performance of cardiac MRI and CT.
