Biography
Dr. Megan Gomes is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Ottawa. Dr Gomes completed her medical degree and residency training at the University of Ottawa and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2015. She then obtained her Master of Science degree in Patient Safety and Health Care Quality from Queens University in 2018.
Dr. Gomes is a member of the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Ottawa Hospital. Her practice includes Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Ottawa Hospital, the Shirley Greenberg Women’s Health Center and Origyns Medical clinic. She is a member of the obstetrics call group at the General Campus. She is Director of Quality and Patient Safety for the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Newborn Care with a focused interest in patient safety and health care quality.
