Suggested course sequences - Geology / Geology-physics
Course sequences show you which courses you should take for your particular program and in which term you should take them. They help you plan your course schedule. Course sequences are only guidelines; there is more than one possible course sequence for any given program.

Notes
- BIO1109: This course is beyond the requirements of the programs in science.
- Most of compulsory courses at the 2000 or 3000 level are only offered in English once every second year (it is offered in French in opposite years).
- Most 3000 and 4000 level courses are offered in alternating years with the French equivalent.
This program can satisfy the academic requirements of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario. Check APGO website for current eligible courses which can be used for accreditation.
For students registered in the Faculty of Science:If the components of your program of study require common compulsory courses, you will have to replace the units with electives.
Please note that all programs in the Faculty of Science require a minimum of 12 elective course units from the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social Sciences or the Telfer School of Management.
The French Immersion Stream is available with this program.
Co-operative education is available with this program.
The minimum CGPA required to be on good academic standing is 5.0.
Please note that a maximum of 48 units at the 1000 level can be used towards your program.

Students who take the Geology-Physics program and wish to become registered members of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario must take 21 units in Geology from among the optional courses in order to satisfy the requirements of the professional association.
