Maya Stanton and Milad Khani have been awarded the 2025 Deirdre G. Martin Memorial Privacy Law Awards by the University of Ottawa Centre for Law, Technology and Society.

On June 13, 2025, Professor Marina Pavlović, a Faculty member of the Centre for Law, Technology and Society, appeared before the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) alongside JD students Mercedes Parsons and Adam Mawji.

A recent graduate of the LL.M. in Law and Technology, Mark Musselman has been awarded the James H. Bocking Memorial Award by Canadian Bar Association’s Competition Law and Foreign Investment Review Section for his exceptional scholarly paper on Canadian competition law.

An emerging scholar on data portability from Peru, Gabriela Bolaños Vainstein has been awarded the 2024-2025 Ian R. Kerr Fellowship for the LL.M. in Law and Technology by the Centre for Law, Technology and Society at the University of Ottawa.
