2026 Orientation for New Professors

We warmly invite all tenure-track professors who joined or will join uOttawa in 2026 to participate in our upcoming event, which will take place from Monday, August 18 to Thursday August 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Along with several inter faculty networking components, this event will feature a series of informational sessions to support your continued integration at the University of Ottawa. You will have the chance to ask questions and share your experiences with experienced members and leaders of our community.

We are pleased to offer you lunch and refreshments throughout this four-day event of learning and connecting with your new academic community.
