Julie Cafley is vice-president, Francophonie and external and community relations, at the University of Ottawa, where her strategic leadership strengthens partnerships, promotes inclusion and increases the University’s impact. A recognized leader in higher education, public policy, research and innovation, she has held positions such as executive director at Catalyst Canada; vice-president, communications and external relations, at the Digital Research Alliance of Canada; and executive vice-president at the Public Policy Forum. She also served as chief of staff for two University of Ottawa presidents. Julie Cafley holds a PhD in education leadership from the University of Ottawa. She is known for her ability to build bridges between sections, gather diverse perspectives and turn ambitious ideas into concrete, lasting results.
