Kim St-Pierre has built a career that combines high-level performance, leadership and a lasting contribution to the growth of women’s hockey. She won three Olympic gold medals with Canada’s national women’s team (2002, 2006, 2010), as a member from 1998 to 2011, as well as five International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) world championships.  

She currently applies her leadership skills as director of business operations with the Professional Women’s Hockey League’s Montreal Victoire.  

Kim St-Pierre received a bachelor’s of education (kinesiology) from McGill University, where she made her mark on university hockey with the Martlets. Her time at McGill, around the outset of the 2000s, helped raise the program to an elite level and laid the groundwork for her rise to the highest levels of her sport.

Kim St-Pierre continues to further women’s hockey through mentoring, guidance and community engagement, shaping the future of the sport she helped to change on the ice. She is equally proud of her involvement in promoting physical activity among youth, believing in its benefits.

In 2020, she became the first female goaltender to be named to the Hockey Hall of Fame, confirming her iconic status in the history of the game. She was also inducted into the McGill Sports Hall of Fame in 2014 and the Panthéon des sports du Québec Hall of Fame in 2016.
