The Alex Trebek Lecture Series with General Jennie Carignan

Join us for the 2026 Alex Trebek Distinguished Lecture Series, the University of Ottawa’s most visible public forum of the year: an Ottawa-centred platform for serious national conversations on the issues shaping Canada’s future.

Join General Jennie Carignan, Canada’s Chief of the Defence Staff, and Professor Thomas Juneau, a leading uOttawa expert on defence and foreign policy, as they explore topics now at the centre of national attention: the multifaceted role of the military in protecting and serving the country, and the ways greater public understanding of military responsibilities can help strengthen Canada's resilience.

If you have questions or comments, or need an accommodation, please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected].
