Expertly crafted sushi rolls and ready-to-eat poke bowls are a healthy alternative to your regular fast-food fare. Choose between ready-made, grab-and-go boxes or a made-to-order dish. You can also grab a coffee at the same time from the Tim Hortons Express while you wait.
Nox Eatery and Public House — Minto Sports Complex, Level 2
The Nox Eatery and Public House is a hidden gem that offers burgers, wings, tacos, nachos, fajitas and a smoothie bar! Plus, there’s a pool table and a window that overlooks the Minto ice rink. Check out the free pool on Nox Rack’Em Up Mondays, along with other events like Karaoke Wednesday and Trivia Night Tuesday.
Flour Kitchen — Corner of University Private and Copernicus
This modest-looking food hut offers oodles of noodles as well as hearty and delicious steamed buns, dumplings and more. Try the beef brisket soup and be sure to get the chili oil. Despite it’s low-key setting, Flour Kitchen offers some of the best Chinese food around at an affordable price.

Welcome to the concept of omniscient wellness: fresh food that’ll make you think you’re at the spa. The Omni Café prides itself on blending culinary expertise with nutrition science to provide wholesome food. Our campus is the site of one of only three locations in Ottawa.
Go Café — Tabaret Hall, Fauteux and Lamoureux
With three locations on campus, the Go Café offers ready-to-go juices, sandwiches, salads and packaged meals that are made fresh on campus by our very own Dining Hall.
Nostalgica — 601 Cumberland Street
More than a pub and beer garden, Nostalgica is a cultural hub for creativity and connection that’s been around since 1994. Enjoy the sunshine on the large and inviting patio or test your talents on a fun, friendly crowd at an open mic night on Thursdays. P.S. The sweet potato fries are divine.
Pizza 8000 — SITE Level 1
Pizza 8000 gets its name from the ideal temperature (in Fahrenheit) for cooking Neapolitan-style pizza, so grab a quick slice or two when you’re in the area.
Three Brothers — 124 Osgoode Street
Ok, although it’s technically not on campus, Three Brothers is so close we really must consider the shawarma haven a campus site. Just cross King Edward between Fauteux Hall and Brooks. It’s easy to get to, the service is fast, and you can use your uOttawa card to pay.
