Campers will explore the culinary world through hands-on cooking experiences, with programming planned by registered dietitians from the School of Nutrition Sciences. Throughout the week, mini-chefs will build foundational kitchen skills such as food safety, knife handling, measuring ingredients and reading recipes, all while preparing delicious dishes from scratch. They’ll also learn about the connections between food, science and health, helping them develop confidence and healthy habits in the kitchen.
Each day includes culinary-themed games, outdoor activities with camp counsellors and plenty of opportunities to taste what they create. Campers will take home the nutritious recipes they prepare to recreate with their families. New this year are themed weeks!
