Eligibility

• No purchase required. This contest is organized by Student Affairs at the University of Ottawa and is open to current University of Ottawa students not employed or compensated by the University at the time of entry.
• To be eligible, participants must have been served by Student Wellness and received a link inviting them to provide feedback.
• Other individuals employed or compensated by the University of Ottawa at the time of participation are not eligible.

Contest dates and times

• The contest begins on May 1, 2026, 8 a.m. Eastern Time  and ends on April 30, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
• Two draws will take place: on December 15, 2026, and on April 30, 2027.

How to enter

• Eligible students are automatically entered in the contest on completing the Student Wellness Services feedback survey using the link provided to them.
• By participating, contestants agree that they have read and understood these contest rules.

Prizes

• There are a total of four prizes available:
  • Two prizes of 100  Flex dollars awarded on December 15, 2026
  • Two prizes of 100 Flex dollars awarded on April 30, 2027
• Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
• Answering a skill-testing question is required to claim the prize.

Selection of winner

• Winners will be selected by random draw among all eligible entries received before each draw date.
• Winners will be contacted directly.
• If a selected contestant cannot be reached within two business days, another draw can be conducted.
• The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
• Personal information collected will remain confidential and will be used only for the purposes of administering this contest, in accordance with the Student Affairs contest and giveaway rules.

The University is not responsible for:

(a) incorrect or inaccurate entry information that may affect a person’s ability to participate in the contest or be awarded a prize; 

(b) content of a contestant’s entry, including any infringements of intellectual property, invasion of privacy, libel or slander; 

(c) lost, incomplete, delayed, misdirected entries or winner release forms; 

(d) injury or damage to entrants’ computers or to any other individual’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any material regarding the contest or accepting a prize; 

(e) any injury or damage to persons or property that may be caused by entrant’s participation in the contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize, including any related travel or activity and the use of entries by the University; 

(f) the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third-party computer hackers or otherwise; or 

(g) late, lost, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify a potential winner.

This contest is subject to and governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable Canadian laws.

The University of Ottawa reserves the right to change these contest rules, or to suspend or cancel this contest at any time.

The winner’s name may be published and made publicly available on the Student Affairs website at uOttawa.ca.  By participating in this contest, contestants agree to the publication of their names should they be selected as a winner.
