On September 29th 2026, to mark World Heart Day, over 90 undergraduate and graduate students met, and learned from leading BHI women researchers from diverse disciplines in brain-heart research.
The BHI partnered with the Women in Medicine Undergraduate Club (uOWIM), and Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance (CWHHA) to co-host an engaging informal career and networking event to inspire the next generation of women in brain-heart research. The BHI is grateful to all the outstanding mentors, and students who contributed their passion and curiosity to making this event a success.
