The Faculty of Social Sciences is proud to congratulate Ghislain Robichaud (BSS ’96, Political Studies and Economics) on his appointment as Canada’s new Consul General in Sydney, Australia.
Mr. Robichaud, a distinguished graduate of our Faculty (School of Political Studies and Department of Economics), will succeed André-François Giroux, who now serves as Ambassador to the Republic of Haiti. This appointment reflects his extensive experience and dedication to representing Canada’s interests abroad.
As Consul General in Sydney, Mr. Robichaud will play a key role in strengthening Canada’s diplomatic presence and advancing ties with Australia, a valued partner and ally.
We warmly congratulate Mr. Robichaud on this prestigious appointment and wish him great success as he embarks on this new chapter of his diplomatic career.
