The Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) is proud to announce the four recipients of the 2025–26 Imagination Fund Scholarship. Each year, the Imagination Fund supports students whose academic excellence, leadership, and initiative drive them to pursue transformative opportunities beyond the classroom – whether through international study, public service, research, or community engagement.
This year’s recipients reflect the diversity of interests, ambitions, and impact that define the GSPIA community.
Regis Privat Kalou is a master’s student in Security and Defence Studies whose work focuses on the intersection of public policy, ethics, and emerging technologies. With support from the Imagination Fund, Regis will contribute to Jeunesse en continu, a highly selective initiative led by the Institut du Nouveau Monde, where he will conduct field research and expert interviews on how artificial intelligence is reshaping human connection and civic life, helping translate these findings into educational programming for youth.
Myra Mansoor Myra Mansoor is a master’s student in Public and International Affairs whose academic interests center on border politics, citizenship, and refugee protection in the Global South. Through this award, Myra will spend a semester at the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po, where she will undertake graduate-level coursework in migration policy. This experience will allow her to deepen her understanding of global refugee and asylum regimes while engaging with a diverse community of scholars and practitioners at one of the world’s leading institutions in international relations.
Pierrot Muamba Tshibangu is a master’s student in Public and International Affairs whose research examines security governance, military strategy, and multilateral diplomacy. The Imagination Fund will support his internship with Canada’s Joint Delegation to NATO in Brussels, where he will apply his expertise in international security and policy analysis within one of the world’s leading multilateral institutions.
Judith Viens is a master’s student in Public and International Affairs whose professional aspirations lie in international development, humanitarian assistance, and peace and security. With the support of the Imagination Fund, Judith will join a humanitarian mission in the Dominican Republic with Solidarité Jeunesse, contributing to community housing construction while gaining firsthand experience in international cooperation, intercultural leadership, and field-based humanitarian action.
GSPIA congratulates Regis, Myra, Pierrot, and Judith on this achievement. Their projects embody the spirit of the Imagination Fund – using academic knowledge, creativity, and leadership to engage with the world’s most pressing public and international challenges.
