The School of Political Studies is proud to announce the publication of an article entitled “La justice transitionnelle comme subterfuge : le cas de la Politique nationale de justice transitionnelle de l’Ouganda” in the Canadian Journal of Development Studies. The article is co-authored by Stéphanie Bacher, who was awarded a posthumous Ph.D. in political science, and Stephen Brown, a professor at the School. Following Stéphanie’s tragic death in September 2023 at the age of 34, Stephen Brown, who was her dissertation advisor, prepared this text for publication based on one of Stéphanie’s thesis chapters. We are very pleased to be able to share the fruits of Stéphanie’s research with those who had the pleasure of knowing her, as well as with the broader academic community, and thus honour the wonderful person and researcher that she was. The article is available here or can be obtained by contacting Stephen Brown.
