The Department of English hosts a regular Guest Lecture Series. This fall, we are pleased to welcome back faculty members returning from sabbatical leave as they share insights from their latest research.
The first lecture in the series celebrates the launch of Professor Andrews’ newest poetry collection, Animals I Never Saw. Signed copies will be available for purchase at the event for $10.
Kimberly Quiogue Andrews
Guest Professor
Professor Kimberly Quiogue Andrews is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the University of Ottawa, where she teaches in both the Literature and Creative Writing programs. Her research examines American poetry and the political economy of literary production in the contemporary era. She is the author of The Academic Avant-Garde (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2023).
In addition to her scholarly work, Professor Andrews is an acclaimed poet and the author of the poetry collection A Brief History of Fruit (2020). Her latest collection, Animals I Never Saw, continues her exploration of memory, place, and the natural world.
