Music at Tabaret: Violin Masterpieces

In this special recital, Timothy will perform on three distinct instruments: the legendary 1714 “Dolphin” Stradivarius, once played by Jascha Heifetz; the 1741 “Titan” Guarneri del Gesù; and a modern violin. Audiences will have a unique opportunity to experience the individual voices and characteristics of these remarkable instruments.

The program also features a special collaboration with members of the University of Ottawa Violin Studio, celebrating the connection between performance, mentorship, and the next generation of musicians. Professor Timothy Chooi will be accompanied on piano by Professor Frédéric Lacroix.
