Arts 101: Faculty of Arts Welcome Day 2026
Join us for the Undergraduate Arts Welcome Day 2026! 🎓
The day will begin with mandatory information sessions led by the Undergraduate Studies Office. You’ll get essential guidance on your program, student platforms, academic expectations, and the many resources available to support you throughout your studies.
All students must attend one session, in either English or French. Each session runs for 1 hour.

Afternoon Fun: Emotions in Colour, Instant Photos and Treats
After your information session, take a break and join us for Emotions in Colour in the Arts District (the outdoor space between Simard and Hamelin hall)

Open to all first-year undergraduate and graduate students in the Faculty of Arts, this relaxing and creative activity gives you the opportunity to paint at your own pace, meet other students and enjoy the Faculty of Arts community.
We’ll also have a snack bar with free treats. Stop by our photo station to have your picture taken and receive a free printed instant photo to take home as a Welcome Day keepsake! Photos and treats will be available while supplies last.

Start the academic year with a new professional headshot! Headshot sessions will be offered from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in MRT 0024, Morisset Hall.
Space is limited and advance booking is required. Appointments are available in 3 minute time slots.
