Kids play with circuits and practice a cello

The uOttawa Maker Mobile (Faculty of Engineering) joins the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Science to present an afternoon of family fun with science, technology, engineering, arts and math!

Explore a variety of activities! Learn about music with the Instrument "Petting Zoo" from the School of Music, play with Beebot and Ozobot robots, learn to code a micro:bit, discover the digital humanities lab, experiment with the forces of flight with paper planes, rockets, and origami butterflies with Let's Talk Science volunteers, and more!

Join us on campus at the STEM Complex, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., drop-in style, and get your passport stamped for a chance to win one of three prize packages, including a family pass to the Canada Science and Technology Museum, programmable LEGO® kit, and iPad Mini, provided by our partners: Johnson Insurance, Manulife, and Desjardins! You can also visit the uOttawa Richard L'Abbé Makerspace and see 3D printers in action!

There'll be something for everyone! Recommended for grades K to 8.

In addition to the STEAM Fair, don't miss the Magic of Chemistry Show presented at 3:00 p.m. Register for the show now! Space is limited.
