About the webinar

Through demonstrations and concrete examples, participants will learn how to use Copilot to find the right word, better understand a grammar difficulty, clarify a passage, organize and develop ideas, compare formulations or translations, and obtain targeted feedback on a text.

Particular attention will be given to how prompts can be designed so that Copilot explains, asks questions, and guides, rather than simply correcting or rewriting a text. One demonstration will show how to start from a paragraph that has already been written, ask Copilot to identify a few areas for improvement, and then use its explanations and hints to revise the text independently.

The webinar will also present simple strategies to preserve the writer’s voice and level of French, verify AI-generated responses, and use Copilot responsibly, while considering course instructions, academic integrity, and confidentiality.

The goal is therefore not simply to produce a better text with AI, but to learn how to use Copilot as a tool for reflection, feedback, and learning to become a more independent writer in French.

No previous experience with generative AI is required.
