Uncover the engineer in our young girls!

Girls and non-binary youth in grades 7 to 12 will have the chance to learn more about the many fields of engineering, such as mechanical, civil and electrical engineering and meet with current students and industry professionals to learn from their experiences.

Event details

The long-awaited Go ENG Girl event takes place on Sunday, November 15th at the University of Ottawa's Main Campus.

Girls and non-binary people in grades 7 to 12 will have the chance to learn more about the diverse horizons offered by engineering through fun, hands-on workshops and meetings with industry professionals.

About ONWiE

The Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE) was formed in 2005 and has grown to a network of 31 engineering schools across Canada to collectively share resources to encourage girls and non-binary youth to pursue careers in engineering, as well as support current women and gender diverse engineers and students.

Go ENG Girl is a free annual event sponsored by ONWiE that offers girls and non-binary youth in grades 7-12 the chance to learn more about engineering through a series of fun, hands-on activities and exhibits.
