A girl in a classroom.

Event details

Technovation Girls Ottawa is part of a global initiative that empowers girls to become technology entrepreneurs and future leaders. Over 14 weeks, participants work in teams to identify a community challenge, design an app concept, build a prototype, and develop a business plan.

Supported by mentors, volunteers, and staff, girls gain hands-on experience in coding, entrepreneurship, problem-solving, and marketing.

Two divisions are offered:

  • Junior Division: ages 13–15
  • Senior Division: ages 16–18

During this information session, you will learn about the program structure, registration process, timelines, mentor support, and our ICD2O course option.
