Join the RDC for a Reading Circle exploring discussion of Ojibway Heritage by Basil Johnston. This session will explore Ojibway stories, beliefs, and oral traditions in a welcoming, discussion-based format. Open to students, staff, and faculty.

General:

Each reading circle features a powerful work by an Indigenous author, opening up space for thoughtful dialogue around the realities and challenges facing Indigenous communities in Canada. 

During the 2025-2026 Academic year we will look at:

  • February 18: When the Pine Needles Fall, by Katsi’tsakwas Ellen Gabriel. FTX 416
