Biography

Kevin is an international lawyer with Global Affairs Canada.  He is currently the Deputy Legal Advisor for Canada's Mission to the United Nations in New York where he represents Canada on human rights, international crime, and legal issues at the United Nations.  In his previous position, Kevin was Legal Advisor and a senior negotiator for Canada on international climate change negotiations and other multilateral environmental treaties. 

Kevin graduated from the University of Ottawa’s English Common Law program in 2011 and articled in commercial and civil litigation in Toronto before moving back to Ottawa to pursue a career in international law with the federal public service. In his spare time, he enjoys the simpler things in life including being out in nature, cycling, playing violin and spending time with friends, family, and of course Huxley, his boisterous golden retriever.
