The University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law has been ranked 58th globally and 4th in Canada on the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings for law.

This is the second straight year that uOttawa’s law programs have been ranked in the top 100, placing the law school amongst the world’s highest performing institutions.

“We are very proud of these spectacular results, which reflect the excellence and impact of our researchers and our community as a whole,” said Marie-Eve Sylvestre, Dean of the Civil Law Section. “As a result of their legal training, our alumni are contributing and will continue to contribute to our nation and the world,” added Kristen Boon, Susan & Perry Dellelce Dean of the Common Law Section.

The University of Ottawa improved in almost every subject area, with law once again placing as the University’s top ranked subject. This achievement is a testament to the excellence of our research and student communities, and reflects the Faculty of Law’s commitment to research innovation and leadership in legal studies.
