uOttawa LeClair Metaverse Moot

This year’s uOttawa LeClair Metaverse grand final moot, which includes cash prizes, takes place on Saturday, March 25, 2023, with general rounds on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

This is an oral advocacy competition, so there is no written component. You may read the problem, which is posted here. Finalists will argue, in the metaverse, before our expected Tribunal made up of Justice Waddilove, Retired Justice Binnie, and the Honourable Barry Leon, former Justice of the ECCC of BVI.

To apply, please send an email (teams of 2) to Prof. Anthony Daimsis at [email protected].  Although priority will be given to 2Ls, and spots are limited, we are accepting applications from all student pairs.

Limited space on a first-come, first-served basis.

Deadline to apply: is March 17 at 12:00 p.m.
