Biography

Dr. Katyan has been an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology, Radiation Oncology and Medical Physics since 2024. He is a radiologist in the Breast Imaging and Emergency and Trauma Radiology Sections as well as the CT Lead in the Department of Medical Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital.  

Dr. Katyan has a broad area of clinical and academic interests. including breast cancer screening and response assessment in breast cancer and is passionate about multi-energy CT and applications of machine learning in imaging.
