Biography

Dr. Aparna Vijayaraghavan is a Pediatric and Fetal Cardiologist with subspecialty training in Fetal Cardiology and Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging. She earned her undergraduate medical degree, postgraduate Pediatric training, and Core Pediatric Cardiology training in India through Dr. M.G.R Medical University, the National Board of Examinations, and AIMS, Kochi.

She subsequently completed a General Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney, followed by a one-year fellowship in Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. Dr. Vijayaraghavan then pursued an additional year of specialized training in Fetal Cardiology at the University of Alberta.

Her clinical and research interests focus on pediatric and fetal cardiology, with a particular emphasis on advanced cardiac imaging. She is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based, and familycentered cardiac care for children with congenital heart disease.
