Biography
Dr. Dyan V. Flores is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa and a radiologist in the Musculoskeletal Imaging Section in the Department of Medical Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital. Her clinical and academic interests include advanced image-guided interventions, sports imaging, joint biomechanics and hand and wrist injuries. She is the Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship Director.
Dr. Flores is a member of the International Skeletal Society (ISS), Society of Skeletal Radiology (SSR), European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) and Radiologic Society of North America (RSNA). She is passionate about teaching and won the MSK Staff Teacher Award in 2023, 2024 and 2025, as well as the Honored Educator Award from the Radiological Society of North America in 2025. She has given multiple invited presentations at national and international meetings and has won many awards for her educational exhibits which have since been published in high-impact journals.
